The Science Committee is responsible for expanding NNOCCI’s reach within the scientific community, deepening the scientific content of our network members, and sustaining relationships between our Science Fellows and Educators.

The Communications Committee helps the network grow by sharing NNOCCI’s message, research, and hope to a broader, external coalition of climate communicators and sustaining our connection to each other by supporting internal communication efforts such as the network newsletter and webinars.

The Member Engagement Committee sustains and deepens the NNOCCI network by facilitating participation in the network to ensure a community-driven sustainable system.

The Training Committee is responsible for expanding NNOCCI’s footprint through oversight of our training programs and resources that grow and support a network of well-trained climate change communicators.

The JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion) Council is a team of passionate social and climate advocates who work across committees to help the NNOCCI community become more diverse, inclusive, and accessible internally, and to deepen and enrich our trainings with a human-centered focus on the links between climate change and social and environmental justice and equity.

The Impact and Evaluation Committee works to better understand and advance NNOCCI’s impacts in changing the national discourse on climate change toward a more positive, civic-minded and solutions-focused message.
