How to Edit a Webpage

Getting to Edit Mode
- Sign in to an account with edit permissions
- Go to the page to edit
- Click edit in the top menu bar
- Click on YooTheme Builder

Editing a Page
Once you open the Builder. You will get a sidebar like the one below.

Add an element
Click this plus button to add an element (a text box, an image, a headline, a button)
Add a Section
Sections are a group of rows, they can have a different color background, different size, and using sections allows you to move and reorder chunks easily
Rows
Rows are 1 to 5 elements side by side. This is how you get an image next to text for example. Click edit and click the “Whole” button under “Layout” at the top to change how many columns a row has.
Viewer
View page as desktop, tablet, or phone mode to see how it renders differently.
Edit Section
In Order:
Edit: Set a background image and width fora section.
Duplicate a section
Save a section as a template (to reuse on a different page)
Delete a section
Hover over a Blue “+” to learn about editing

Using Elements
There are a lot of elements which are building blocks. Some of them are more useful than others. See the examples below for the more useful ones.

At the top of the element menu you can also use “pro presets” to try different examples.

Save or Publish

Click “Save Layout” to save your work and “Publish” to push the edit to the live website.

Uploading Newsletters
- Go to the admin site
- Under “Post” choose “Add New”
- Create the post
- Write a title (i.e. September 2023 Newsletter)
- Set a feature image (bottom left)
- Copy HTML from mailchimp
- Choose Text

- Paste the HTML
- Choose Visual and delete the blank space
- Click publish
